This has been the worst clinic I have ever been to. The doctor here is arrogant. The staff needs to be educated on customer service. I have been told 3 times that they will not send or do refill of my regular medications. A staff member has said to me that they do not do prescriptions anymore at this office, I needed to go to the hospital in college station to get it. There has to be some kind of law or humanity to help patients. The doctor at this location needs to reminded of her hypocritical oath.
I am a camp director and a 911 paramedic. I sent one of my counselors who dropped a heavy object on her toe. After doing an assessment and palpating the injury, I suggested she go to this clinic to confirm with an x-ray that it was not broken just to give her peace of mind. After waiting for approximately 45 minutes (which was not an issue), the Nurse Practitioner walked in, looked at it and said that they should go to the ER because the bone could poke through the skin. She never touched or assessed the injury at all. The counselor, thankfully, insisted on an x-ray which confirmed it was not broken. It was just a bruise. I am floored that this NP was so lazy as to not do a proper assessment and then wanted to send them to an ER to have a higher co-pay and bog down an already taxed ER system. I will be telling EVERYONE I know to avoid this place. I'm attaching a pic of the injury.
I've been here multiple times for my husband & all 3 of my boys. We've seen about 3 different doctors between all of our visits & they make us feel so welcome & are very helpful. Always making my boys feel comfortable when having a check up not to mention very convienent for us.
We've been to CHI St Joe's Urgent Care several times for illnesses and broken bones after regular hours with our kids. Wonderful care and service every time!

Not happy with the Walk - In clinic. I took my 12 year old, who had been feeling sick for 3 days. She felt fatigued, had a couch, runny nose, achy body and sore throat. Doctor said she had a cough, instructed her to take her inhaler 2x every 2 hours and take over the counter medicine. That very night she ran a fever, so we went back and found out she had Flu B. Seems the original Dr. we seen didn't care enough to do a thorough check up. Wont go back without an appointment.
