Food was good wait was about average for a sit down joint. Customer wad pleasant and amazing and the same time. 2nd visit required.
I had the cheeseburger. It is huge. I can't imagine what the double looks like. The vegetables are fresh and generous. The bun was soft. This burger is a reason to drive to Brenham, all by itself. The fries are lackluster. No seasoning. Not worth fooling with. Next time, I'll pass. But the root beer float? Oh. My. So much Blue Bell homemade vanilla ice cream I couldn't finish the small size. All this for $8 and change. In the city the burger alone would cost more. I am definitely going back!
This hidden gem has great food at amazingly low prices. The staff members are young, but extremely friendly and helpful, they seem to really enjoy their jobs. While I enjoyed a fantastic Taco Salad with sweet tea, my oldest son had the catfish with hush puppies, fries and a soda. My youngest had chicken tenders with fries and gravy with a large chocolate malt. He was in heaven, it's his favorite.
Everything is made to order real fresh.... the reason for the 4 star is because the tea is made with tap water and Brenham water does not taste good... the wait time is quite long and usually the drive threw line is out to the road... the wait time is worth it because the food is always fresh.

Probably the best burger place in Brenham. Has a diner feel to it. Pretty expansive menu and good pricing. It can get a little cramped on Sunday after church, etc; but they have a drive-thru.
