Although the staff her was very nice to us...Worst company ever! I am having so many problems with this company! They refuse to change my sons birthday in their system so every claim gets declined and are now going to collections. Yet when I call to try to get them to change it, they can't. Then last year I took my other son to the ER because he cut his hand open and needed stitches. When I got a ridiculous bill SWHP didn't pay anything because they said it wasn't their ER and that the other one was changing to much for the service provided-even though they should have paid with our plan. This year we drove almost an hour to get to a SWHP ER when we thought our daughter had an appendicitis. We got there they gave her something for pain talked to her a bit ruled out appendicitis without an exam or sonogram and sent her home. The bill I got after that was more than the one from the overpriced ER. And all of this goes on when I pay $1200 a month- yep a month!! I have never in my life had as many problems with a company before!
No complaints from the whole stay from admitting to procedure. Staff and nurses were great. Been very pleased with the scott and white clinic md's and staff.
Do not ever go to the emergency department. I will say the overnight staff of nurses, doctors and receptionist where excellent. As far as the day shift nurse, she was rude, gave away patient information with her rude sarcastic answers. They had a patient that was discharged, knowing his family was 13 hours away, left him in the waiting room. He has no money, no ID, no clothes, No nothing and it wasn't like the ER was code red and they need the bed. It is called common human kindness. I understand that he was discharged, but come on we were travelling as fast as we could and they made him wait in the lobby for hours. They surely were not afraid to charge me insurance company over $8,000, but could not let some one at least lie down,.
Horrible told to get script all pharmacy closed no clue what's wrong
They only had like 1 Dr. And he was on call. ..Mr girlfriend had her baby here I stayed for. Support.. ..they never came to clean the room till the last day we was in the for 3 2days I had to take the trach. Out and they was kinda late with alot. Of info. Seem like they practice on people. Then call the Dr and ask him what to do over the. Phone butt the Dr have to come in cuz he the only one. Can do it but he is at home
