Purposely scheduled first appointment of the day for a booster vacination. After checking in at the front, I was told to go to the children's waiting area and they would call to let them know we had arrived. As we waited, three others went in before us. None of the nursing professionals asked if we had been helped or what we were there for. I had to go find the nurse's station myself and ask about our appointment before we were even acknowledged. No one apologized for the wait or seemed to care. Needless to say, very disappointed.
Front desk staff run the place better than any other office. Dishonest in their billing and insurances offices. Report you to collections on bills paid 10 months before.
I'm only giving them a star because I have to. I've been trying to get medical records and unfortunately it's difficult to get a return call from them. Long story short I finally had someone email me the release form. I got an email back the next day saying my husband had to sign it and "Also, it is not filled out correctly". Really? When all they send you is a form without any specific instructions or that maybe you can't sign the form which by than you have wasted more time. Wow! Not only are they rude on the phone but also unprofessional when they send emails. I guess I'm going to have to drive to Brenham and guess what I won't be surprised that no one can help me when I get there.
This place is a joke. I only go to the doctor if I feel horrible. I've been feeling like I have the flu for 5 days, so I figured it was time to go. After waiting in triage for 30 minutes, my name was called and here's what was said "Dr Mikeska says no. You haven't been here since 2015 so she would have to do a full write up and she doesn't have time." I'm not going to lie -- I lost my cool. How completely unprofessional. I will be filing a formal complaint.
I have visited Brenham Clinic many times in the past year, both for my three children, and myself. The care is excellent. We love every doctor, nurse, and PA we've seen. However, something is amiss with their insurance filing department. With over half of the visits, something has been mis-filed, and we've been told we owe more than we do. And it doesn't matter which insurance you use, either - we've had two different major companies in the last year. Every time, I have to call them, point out the mistake and they say, oops, yes, we goofed. Most recently, they goofed, but reported us to a debt collector instead of fixing the problem. I'm still fighting them about this to get them to call off the dogs for their mistake. As much as we love the doctors and nurses, we will have to switch to a different office for our family's care. I can't waste my time chasing down every billing mistake.
