Food was good, service was good. Chicken Fried Steak fresh, not frozen. Sugar holder was dirty and not filled.
Eat here often, seafood pasta is kick ass when the scalloks are cooked. Several good waitresses provide good service. JD
yes the building and interior are older and could be improved but the food is really good, we come frequently as it is close to home, and I know the building are older but I always remember that it has been there for almost 40 years or more..we ALWAYS have the seafood gumbo, egg rolls, (which are more like spring rolls) with peanut sauce, the American shrimp cocktail and the snapper prepared some kind of way (we are given a choice) and we are always pleased. Courteous quick service and always a smile, if we need something,. it is always retrieved quickly..We LOVE this restaurant...I don't believe you can get better seafood anywhere. We have replaced our place in Houston with the one close to home...
