Not what I expected per the description. Traveled to hear from another town for a Friday night concert that was cancelled last minute. Good thing was there was unlimited refills of my st Arnold root beer.
The place is a little funky, has a nice vibe, and offered live music on certain nights. (Tonight was one of those nights.) It is, however, a little pricy. A cheese plate (not a platter), three beers, a glass of wine, and a $15 cigar(!!!) later, tab was $60. My own fault for not asking prices before I ordered. I should have known better.
The night vibe is really special. They have some really talented artist come out and play. Big selection of beers .
The young lady who served us was lovely and charming, and the beer and cheese was tasty, but be sure to bring a wad of cash or a credit card if you are going to stay very long.
I really like the patio vibe but as far as te inside of the restaurant, I really feel like this place is trying too hard to be "country." Decent beer, terrible cigars, fair service.
My wife and I love the local musical talent that Home Sweet Farm brings in. Even on a hot summer evening the biergarten is a great outdoor setting to enjoy a craft beer and live music.
