Shrimp and potatoes were delicious. The sauce that goes with it. Even more amazing. Corn in addition was not dry. Perfect for crawfish season. Caring waitstaff and attentive to your order. Would definitely stop by again and order the same thing on my next road trip.
Also, the restaurant is nice inside and appeared to be very clean.
The food is great!! However, the last time we were there the salad was room temperature. In my opinion salads should be served cold or chilled. I could not eat it. My husband had blackened fish and it was delicious! I had fried shrimp and I was equally pleased! We have been here several times and have added it to our recommended list.
Excellent Caesar Salad! They even made me a container of their homemade dressing to take home!
Food was pretty good. Gumbo wasn't spicy at all but the cat fish, shrimp and stuffed crab were great.
We went on a Tuesday at noon. It was not busy but still pretty slow. I dont mind the wait for good food though. I had a burger so keep in mind I am reviewing a seafood place based on a burger. It was just OK. The fries were just OK. They were quick to keep drinks filled but after eating seemed to take forever as 3 of the wait staff were just chilling at the counter while our waiter had our bill in his hand. Finally he noticed us staring at him. It's a nice enough place for a lunch but I will probably look elsewhere next time I'm in town.
